Mr Mark Clement
Mr Clement was co-founder and Finance Director of Celsis International plc and has over twenty years in life sciences. He founded and ran a corporate finance consultancy for several years, and is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Securities Institute. He has a BSc Honours in Economics from the University of Birmingham.
Mr Mark Docherty
Mr Docherty worked previously at Arthur Andersen and is a Chartered Accountant. He has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield University.
Mr Salvatore D'Orsa
Mr D'Orsa joined the Venture Team of Merlin Biosciences Limited in 2003. He has been working in the healthcare industry since 1994 when he started his working career in the London headquarters of SmithKline Beecham. Before joining Merlin, he was a member of the healthcare investment banking team of Goldman Sachs International where he advised clients on M&A and financing opportunities. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Bocconi University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr Michael Hoy
Finance Director Mr Hoy is a Chartered Accountant, he was formerly Global Finance Manager in PA Consulting Group's Technology practice. He has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Middlesex.
Dr Rony Douek
Dr Douek worked in the Leveraged Transactions team at
Apax Partners in London and as a Product Development Manager at Procter &
Gamble's European R&D Centre in Brussels. He also worked for McKinsey in
Milan and in the Investment Banking team of Goldman Sachs in London. He has an
MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and both
a PhD and MEng (Hons) with First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from
Imperial College London.
